This Policy governs all paid and unpaid promotional services on LandscapingGlobe™, including Advertisements, Boosted Listings, and Sponsored Content.

1. Introduction

This Policy governs all promotional services including:

  • Advertisements, Boosted Listings, and Featured Supplier/Contractor Slots.
  • Priority Search Visibility, Sponsored Knowledge City Content, and AI-enhanced promotional tools.

This policy applies to all user categories: Suppliers, Contractors, Clients, Professionals, Knowledge City Users.

2. Nature of Advertising on LandscapingGlobe

LandscapingGlobe is a global quote-based platform. Advertising does not guarantee:

  • Job awards, Lead volume, Conversion, or Revenue.
  • Search ranking beyond the paid boost window.

All ads must comply with this policy, TOS, Privacy Policy, Moderation Policy, and Global advertising laws. Violations may lead to immediate suspension under the Moderation Policy.

3. Paddle Merchant of Record (MoR)

(For Present + Future Monetization)

Whenever paid promotional tools are active:

  • Paddle is the Merchant of Record and processes all fees and placements.
  • Paddle manages global tax/VAT/GST compliance.
  • LandscapingGlobe never stores payment card data.

4. Categories of Ads & Promotional Tools

4.1 Boosted Listings:

Appear above organic results for a limited time (Contractor, Supplier, Category, Region-based boosts).

4.2 Sponsored Content / 4.3 Featured Cards:

Knowledge City articles published by verified professionals (must be factual), or Pinned cards on home/search pages.

4.4 Banner Ads / 4.5 Future AI-Enhanced Tools:

Banner ads in high-traffic sections, or AI tools like smart visibility optimization and auto-generated promotional summaries.

5. Prohibited Advertising Content

The following ads are strictly prohibited:

Category Examples
Misleading claims Guaranteed 3,000 clients/month (Unverifiable results)
Illegal services Unlicensed pesticide application (Violating local laws)
Fake reviews/testimonials Celebrity landscaper approved (Unauthorized endorsements)
Offensive/abusive content Targeting based on race or religion (Discrimination, hate speech)
Dangerous products Banned chemicals, illegal herbicides
Bypass/redirect scams Redirecting users to malware or phishing links

Violations → immediate removal, account restriction, or termination.

6. Ad Targeting & Transparency

Targeting uses category-based, region-based, and interest-based filters only. No invasive tracking beyond what is disclosed in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

7. Ad Review & Moderation Workflow

All ads undergo a three-level compliance check:

Level 3 Escalation review Legal review when required for high-risk ads

If your ad is rejected, Support (support@landscapingglobe.com) will provide the reason. You may edit and resubmit without extra cost.

8. Global Advertising Compliance

Advertising must comply with standards across:

  • European Union: Unfair Commercial Practices Directive
  • GCC Compliance: UAE, KSA, & Qatar Advertising Standards
  • Asia-Pacific: Singapore ASA, India CPA Rules, Australia ACMA

General Global Principles:

  • Truthful, Transparent, Non-deceptive, Clear disclaimers, Accurate pricing.

9. User Responsibilities for Advertisers

Advertisers must:

  • Provide accurate business information & Maintain appropriate licenses.
  • Comply with global consumer protection laws & Respect trademark/copyright.

They must not:

  • Upload stolen images, Use copyrighted brand names, or Post misleading location data.
  • Submit duplicate ads to game ranking.

10. Ad Delivery & Boost Visibility Rules

10.1 Boost Duration:

Boost windows may include: 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, or 30 days.

10.2 Visibility Logic:

Boosts will increase ranking based on:

  • Category, Region, Performance quality score, and Completed profile status.

Boosts do not override moderation flags or safety standards.

11. Cancellation, Refunds & Billing

Handled under the LandscapingGlobe Billing & Refund Policy, aligned with:

  • Paddle subscription lifecycle and refund rules.
  • Local consumer protection laws.

Refund disputes must be emailed to the MoR (Merchant of Record).

12. Example Violations (Contextual)

Allowed:

  • Verified irrigation supplier promoting new PVC pipe catalog.
  • Contractor showcasing past landscaping projects.
  • Knowledge City expert promoting a certified article.

Not Allowed:

  • Unlicensed pesticide applicator promoting toxic chemicals.
  • Supplier using AI-fabricated “before/after” images.
  • Fake discounts (“90% off everything today only”).

13. Enforcement Actions

Depending on severity, actions may include:

  • Ad rejection, Partial editing request, Temporary ad suspension.
  • Account restriction, Full account termination.
  • Reporting to authorities (in severe legal cases).
