Project Summary
The Obama Presidential Center creates an engaging new landscape within historic Jackson Park on Chicago’s South Side. The campus brings together the Museum tower, Forum, and Library with planted gathering spaces, rooftop gardens, sunken courtyards, wooded paths, lawns, plazas, a community vegetable garden, sledding hills, and a playground. The landscape connects the buildings with the surrounding park while supporting civic engagement and community use.
