Dr. Fatima Al-Zaabi is a desert horticulture researcher and educator affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), specialising in arid-climate plant science, water-efficient landscape design, and UAE native plant ecology. She holds a PhD in Horticulture from Wageningen University and has spent 14 years researching and promoting the use of drought-tolerant and native plant species in GCC landscape projects.
