Horticulturist & Tropical Landscape Consultant

Marcus J. Okafor is a Singapore-based horticulturist and tropical landscape consultant with 14 years of practice across Southeast Asia. He holds an MSc in Horticulture from Wageningen University and is an NParks-accredited Skyrise Greenery consultant, specialising in green roof systems, vertical living walls, and tropical biophilic design for commercial and residential projects. Marcus has worked on over 45 green roof and living wall installations across Singapore and Malaysia, with expertise in plant selection for tropical climates, substrate specification, and LEED/BCA Green Mark documentation. He has advised developers, architects, and government agencies on integrating greenery into urban building envelopes, and regularly contributes to NParks Skyrise Greenery Incentive Scheme applications. He is currently accepting new consultations for rooftop and facade greening projects.
