Horticulturist, Author & Gardening Speaker

I am a horticulturist, entrepreneur, author, broadcaster, columnist, and international speaker with decades of experience in the horticulture industry. I began working with my wife, Faye, in the garden business in 1970 and have spent my career helping gardeners, growers, and industry professionals make better plant and garden choices. I have co-owned and developed Minter Country Garden and helped create Minter Gardens, a renowned destination garden. My experience also includes syndicated gardening columns, CBC radio and television programs, gardening education, public speaking, and horticultural writing. I regularly follow new plants, garden trends, design ideas, and developments in horticulture through visits to leading gardens and horticultural trade shows.
