Landscape Architect & Scholar

I am a landscape architect and scholar working at the intersection of computation, responsive technologies, and ecological infrastructures. I am the Commonwealth Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Virginia School of Architecture. Previously, I served as Professor and Chair of Landscape Architecture at the University of Virginia, and held academic appointments at Harvard Graduate School of Design, Louisiana State University, and Rhode Island School of Design. My work and research focus on computational landscape architecture, ecological systems, responsive technologies, and territorial design.
