I am Thomas L. Woltz, Senior Principal and Owner of Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects. My work focuses on the relationship between culture, ecology, and the sustainability of the public realm. I lead multidisciplinary teams that bring together landscape architects, scientists, and historians to create public landscapes shaped by environmental systems, cultural history, and community needs. My experience includes restoration ecology in large urban parks, post-industrial sites, educational campuses, and public landscapes across multiple regions and countries.
