I am Kathryn Gustafson, Founder of Gustafson Porter + Bowman and Founding Principal of Gustafson Guthrie Nichol in Seattle. I am an internationally acclaimed landscape architect with over 45 years of distinguished practice. My work focuses on defining project vision and creating distinctive sculptural landscapes that engage people at a fundamental human level. My portfolio includes public landscapes, gardens, memorials, parks, plazas, and large-scale urban projects across Europe, North America, and Asia. Notable projects include the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain in London, Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam, Parque Central in Valencia, Taikoo Place in Hong Kong, Site Tour Eiffel in Paris, and Jardins de l’Imaginaire in France. I also lecture internationally and contribute to the development of contemporary landscape architecture.
